DuraTech® Eels

The DuraTech® Eel is extremely durable, has the perfect amount of stretch and flexibility, and is naturally buoyant. We designed this soft plastic eel to be similar in shape and in action to the Big Occhi, but with added durability and increased buoyancy.  The large body provides extra mass for long casts and the tapered “V” shape keeps it level as it cuts through the water column. 

As will all of our DuraTech® products, the DuraTech® Eel incorporates our Easy Rig Design which allows for fast and straight rigging every time.  There is a channel going from the nose of the bait to the belly slit, which makes it nearly impossible to rig our DuraTech® soft plastics off centered. This eel imitation bait can be rigged multiple ways:

• Weightless for topwater "walk-the-dog" action
• Weighted worm hook for subsurface action
• Weighted jig head to get the jerkbait deeper in the water column

The DuraTech® Eel is made from a PVC-Free elastomer making it better for the environment while outperforming other PVC-based soft plastic baits in action and durability. When paired with our Lead-Free jig head, this is the perfect combo for anglers looking to spend the day out of the water while being responsible at the same time.
